MD at PD!
MD stands for Mother's Day, okay!
So, Imaya (the main organizer) proposed a night in PD. The nearest beach. That's more like it! Yay!! Beaches are always a YAY!
Everyone had a slot to be the director.
Imaya (main organizer) in charge of the venue including booking the suite. We stayed in The Regency Tanjung Tuan. Recommended because of the private beach. The ambiance, facility and location was perfect. The cons was we had to change suite. First Suite, air condition didn't work in my bedroom. But all others are fine. Second Suite, clogged toilet! Which was worse than the first Suite.
Mama: the best person of all because she gets gift and she just had to pack her own clothes.
Me: Lunch Day 1, tupperware, sand toys, termos
Hilma: Snacks by the Beach.
The best time we had. Swim! Swim! Swim! And let the wave crashed at us while screaming together. Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
We made castles and of course ankle deep hole to bury someone. Our victim: Marzayyan at first, then Ikram came by and we caught him. Sofea got to be a mermaid with half body buried.
Grandma, get to play Madame Francais!
We had dinner at Medan Ikan Bakar which was only 10 minutes away from the hotel. We ordered over the phone so everything was cooked when we arrived. Because we knew the kids will already be tired. When they are tired, they'll throw tantrums. Imagine 5 tantrums? When that happens, the grown-ups will eat with pressured faces. Getting too familiar with the situation most likely to happen, we ordered in advance. So that we came immediately to eat which only took half hour to finish.
Every single one of us passed out the second we reached at the suite and put our heads on the comfy white pillow.
Hilda: Breakfast Day 2 (egg and tuna sandwiches).
And gift time!
After the light breakfast, everyone came down to the beach. The water was perfect. Smooth sailing! My favorite view! A quick jump in before it started to rain.
We checked out and planned for our next family day. The weather was also perfect. Not too hot and sunny. Just nice for outdoor activity.
All 4 daughters were planning for MD 2 weeks before the day. We were suppose to have High Tea at a really elegant hotel. I don't want to spill just yet. It's gonna be our next mother's day venue. But I thought, why should we spend such limited time with such amount of money. I wasn't worth it. The same amount can be spent where we could actually stay in a room overnight.
