Soothing herself to sleep

I am thankful that I've got kids who are easy sleepers including this little lady. Irfan and Ikram slept through the night since they were newborns except when they have the bloating and gassy tummy. Other than that they slept soundlessly.

The little lady had to be given the pacifier to sleep. She doesn't drink that much but because she kept wanting to suck, I had to give it to her. Only to get her to sleep. She knows when to release the pacifier just when she's about to doze off.

She knows how to hold onto the pacifier so that it won't fall off and interrupt her sleep.

After a few minutes, dozing off into a deep sleep. Good night sleeping beauty.
I have started nudging her onto a schedule/ routine.

It seems a bit harsh to be putting a little baby to follow a schedule, but it works for me and my kids. Until today, the boys are disciplined when it comes to bed time. We usually forbid them to sleep before sunset. We distract them with any kinds of activities. They'll be too tired and will sleep early (9 pm on school nights, 10 or 11 pm on weekends. When they have enough sleep, they wake up early without being grumpy. Believe me, it'll make your life as busy parents much more bearable.

Teaching and training requires patience.
