First Day Observation!

Wow! The kids grew too fast. Correction! The day flew fast. As the kids grew fast, we, parents grew older. As the kids learnt to adapt to new environment, parents are experiening new things in life too. 

Parents to adapt : Sleep and wake up extra early, letting the kids go, anxious of their whereabouts, worried sick of their safety, checking their bags for homework, wondered what they've learnt in school, juggling everything at one time, rushing home to cook dinner, prepare everything for the next day, nagging even more. Time is gold!

Kids to adapt: Sleep and wake up extra early, new environment, learning to spend, learning to befriend, learning with teachers, learn discipline, following rules and instructions, doing everything as a routine, doing homework right away when they've reached home. Time is gold!

The first day of school as a parent. Checking, peeping, observing, judging, consulting, nagging etc..

Lingering around in morning school. Peeping in classes. Chit chatting at the canteen while waiting...

Lingering around at afternoon school.

I did this for 3 whole days. My husband only hang around for two.
