Over eating!

These few weeks have been a major/ over eating week. There are weddings to attend to and back-to-back raya open houses. Irfan had too much sugar and there goes the hyperactive, uncontrolled behavior.

Saturday: Wedding at Seremban, Open houses (Hakkam's, Marina's and Su Yah's).

 The two without sugar intake.
Here, it all began. Ice cream cones. One is tolerable but 3 is overdoing it!
Ready to make his 1st move.

Double trouble! Poor Deer, Tortured!

 The two cuz hanging out.
Exhausted, after all the restless actions.
Restless in the car. Really out of control here. 1 adult = 1 kid is also out of hand.
OMG! Will the two of you stop wriggling for 5 seconds. You're giving me a headache. It's just like reading in the car.

Anyways, luckily the house we went to, had a huge garden to run about.

Sunday: There was an open masjid, at Masjid al-Muqarammah, Bandar Sri Damansara. Open house in Denai Alam, and a doa selamat in Klang.

The three had fun eating again. Still out of control.

 All set.

Irfan. "I'm bored sitting still. i should just wonder around a bit."

 Ikram, eating well.

Irfan teaching Ikram and Lana to Chicken dance.
 Got duit raya from TanSri.
Over acting in the car, again.

An article:
When a child is eats a large quantity of sugar, the glucose level in the body rises very quickly= sugar rush. After giving him a candy/ ice-cream (anything sweet) you will most likely see him running around in circles, or doing other particularly energetic activities. The child has been given too much energy by this sugar and his body and mind cannot handle it. He needs to run off this energy and let it loose in order to get rid of it. A child that has just eaten something with a lot of sugar is acting in a hyperactive way. Sugar and children can cause a lot of problems, both physically and with behavioral issues.

After this energy has been run out, there will be a sudden dip in the glucose levels in the body. This sudden dip will show up right after this hyperactive behavior has finished and you will see that the child seems very droopy and can be more irritable and begin crying. The body and mind cannot handle this sudden drop in the level of sugar that is available in the blood supply and you will see a definite reaction in your child. Sugar and children should not go together.

Irfan will always ask if he could have 1 candy. On the normal days, we would only allow 1. But how could we stop during a party/ social event? Where candies/ sweets/ ice-cream is a must.
