It's Maya Sofea!

It was the right decision for Hilma not to go to Dayah's Wedding. She's expected to deliver her second baby early December but ta-da, Tuesday, 20-11-2012, she delivered Lana's sister at 1.10 am at Damansara Specialist. She has been admitted on Monday due to heavy contractions. When the contraction has stop and she was about to discharge, another back-to-back contraction came. A big wave and with every one's surprise from a 1 cm to a 6 cm in a short time. The nurses scolded her because she even walked at 6 cm to the treatment room. Wah! So strong! By the time they pushed her to the Labour Room, she was 10 cm but the doctor haven't arrived. Every one panicked. Luckily her doctor lived nearby and arrived in 5 minutes and Voila!!! A baby girl is born. A new member of the family. Maya Sofea. Imaya, her Atam was really proud that her niece took her name. I aked Hilma to consider Ayu Sofea. Every one rejected. *tears* But the most important. Both mother and daughter were fine and healthy.

The Strong Heart! Even though she delivered in DSH, a private hospital, she changed the baby's diapers and breast feed on her own. Some body else might not do the same if they were pampered in such expensive hospitals. Like in a government hospital, everything is the mum's responsibility and they forced us to be independent. It's a good thing though. The nurse was surprised that she didn't need their help. When the nurse came in, Maya's diapers was changed and she was fed.

I nagged her because look how she sits. She said that she's comfortable like that. tsk...tsk...tsk.. It's not even 24 hours yet.
