One Vision- Family Run 2012
Olla! It has been a great weekend. Feeling that I've left every problems at the office. Sunday, March 4th, me, Hilda, Hilma & Imaya went for the One Vision Run 2012. For charity. It was a 3km marathon, that includes you and your family as a team. Each member of the family must arrive at the finishing line together or they'll take the last member's time.
I had to say that the event was terribly managed. There were no secretariat in sight when we arrived. They were late. So different from all the other races I've participated in. There was no secretariat at any of the junctions to pin point the route. Duh! That was how Hilma got lost and followed the Kidney Team. Hilma was the first to leave us panting behind. When she was out of sight I was like "darn! I'm left behind again". We arrived at the finishing line half an hour later to find that Hilma was not there. We were "?????". Where did she ran off to?
We gave her a call and found out that she followed the wrong route. She was so furious, she scolded everyone of the secretariat she came across with. Hahaha! Hilma has always been a runner. Ever since high school. She kept time of her run. So, when she ran 6km instead of 3km, it was off limit.
Anyways, we did have fun. Hilda and Imaya wanted to join other marathons in the future.

Cool down! Our legs our gonna hurt tomorrow!
Love! Run for Charity!
Finishers!
Gobbled Cheerios after the race.
It was fun to see teams who had bring along their kids in the race. See that little boy in the orange shirt? His shirt was soaking wet with sweat. and see that boy in the stroller? His dad pushes the stroller with the kid in it for 3km. I wish I had the energy to bring my boys along.
There was no medals. Cert would have to do.
Til we meet again next week in the Brooks Run at Bukit Jalil!! Yay!
