Syawal Day 3: Goodbye Kuantan! Hello Lipis!

KUANTAN:
After a quick breakfast, we packed our stuff to go back to my hometown. But before that, we got another invitition from Cik Nah.

While waiting, the boys went for a motor ride with Tok Wan. They went around the neighborhood. Ikram cried when they arrived in front of the house. He wanted to ride some more.

Grandpa with unsatisfied grandsons.

Cik Nah prepared us Nasi Kerabu this time. Alhamdulillah. She's such a good host. She often invites us for brunch, lunch and dinner. So, okay, we'll, of course, drop by her house before going back to Kuala Lipis.
Nasi Kerabu.

Like father like son.

With the Chef Cik Nah!

Swing Away with Kak Anis.

Last photo session.

My husband promised to take us to the riverside and he kept his promise.

Thank you! And Goodbye Kuantan. We're going to Lipis now. Why can't the boys stay still when it's photography session. It only take seconds but they made it hard to bear.

KUALA LIPIS:
When we arrived Kuala Lipis, my grandparent's house (as always) was a full house. There was our grandparents, my grandma's sister (Wan Chik) with her whole family, Pak Long Faizal and family, Pak Ngah Fairuz and family, Pak De Faiz and family. My aunts and uncles whom already arrived, Pak Chu, Achu and their 3 kids, Andak, Mak Andak and their 5 kids, my mom and siblings, my sister, Hilda, whom just arrived from Machang. Really I can always mention everyone's name, but it'll be forever to finish. I might as well hang the family organizational chart up my blog. LOL!

There was a lot of laughing, talking, eating, promoting products, updating etc, etc.

Later that day, we went to one of my Aunt's house, just 15 minutes away. She leaves just next door to her daughter. How lucky! Guess who was already there when we got there? Wan Chik's family again! LOL! It sure was a big reunion. The kids even had a football match in the yard.

Irfan and Ikram joined in the fun. It was their ball anyway.

Kak Long made Laksa Penang! Good for her! It was also a house warming party. Her home was super new with brand new furniture.

Cycling together.

All worn out and re-energising!
I love going back to my hometown. It's loud with laughter. Who ever married our family just shook their heads because there's nothing not to laugh about. There's always something. Seriously! My grandma would just sigh when the kids ran in the house and made thumping sounds on the wooden floor. She always said, that the house would someday collapse because of the stampede. LOL! And the little kids and babies would cry at night because they couldn't sleep with all the rumbling sound of footsteps and laughter from the family room.

Every time when everyone comes home, we'll contribute to buy food and other necessities including paying for electricity and water because the family is too big. There's 8 rooms and 4 bathrooms. But the kids enjoy sleeping in the living room together.

To be continue: Syawal Day 4: Raya with Family and Friends.
